Each year Archway invites staff, volunteers, and community members to join us for the Annual Hands Around the Lake event. As a community and a family, we gather to promote Autism Awareness and raise money to support those with autism at Archway Programs directly.
A cool spring morning and a sparkling lake provided a beautiful backdrop to the Archway Hands Around the Lake event. The chill was no match for the dedication of the Archway Programs’ staff, students, family, and friends. Wrapped in jackets, hats, and even scarves, they showed up in droves to show support for loved ones and friends. The event successfully provided attendees with a great time in a fun, safe, and entertaining environment. Thank you to everyone who stood with us in support of Autism Awareness and showed your continued support by showing up, not just today but every day. We want to thank the staff members and the maintenance staff that made today possible. A shout-out and a thank you to Lieutenant Daniel Chiumento and Officer Nicholas Fabrizio of the Waterford Township Police Department for joining us and sharing the event with our students and staff. Your continued efforts for inclusion and safety measures for the Autistic population are appreciated. Thank you, Jackie, from Action News, for taking the time to come out and film our event, enabling us to share our story with a broader audience.
