Susan Lafferty, Executive Director, Education, and Ms. Kelly Willis, Universal Careers Paraprofessional, from Archway Programs, impressed visitors from Abilities Solutions, an Affiliate of Allies, when they gave Mr. Jeff and Ms. Lorri a tour of the Archway Career Center. They were aware of and impressed with the life-changing work Ms. Willis has been doing with students in the Careers Program. With the program’s success in mind, they were interested in what the Careers Program is all about and decided to visit the location to see it in action.
Since both programs offer similar services, the teams are open to new ideas and are committed to improving and diversifying the services they provide to the individuals they serve.
The Archway Programs Career Center will celebrate its fifth year this October, and we are proud of the success Ms. Willis and her team have accomplished. We look forward to watching the program’s continued growth and its ability to provide students with various career options as they navigate their futures beyond school.
Abilities Solutions has been successfully providing employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities and other barriers to the workforce since 1963, as the Occupational Training Center of Gloucester County, and later changed its name to Abilities Center of Southern NJ, Inc.
