Our Just Kids Program has been working diligently to navigate through these unprecedented times. This includes planning for the Just Kids Summer Camp. As an organization, we are committed to safety and quality of care. After extensive review of the new guidelines, we have made the very difficult decision to forgo camp this summer. The safety, logistical, and financial implications to operate were all taken into consideration when making this decision.
We understand that this is disappointing news for many of you. Knowing you as a family may need to make other arrangements, we wanted to let you know as soon as possible. We waited to make a decision until we knew the guidelines the state was going to issue to reopen. If you need a letter for your employer to let them know that camp is not operating therefore effecting your childcare, please just let us know. We have already provided this for school year care for several parents.
Due to the circumstances, full refunds will be given, including the $100 nonrefundable deposit, to any parent who requests it. We know many of you will need these funds to pay for alternate childcare. We do ask that if you are able to do so financially and expect to use Just Kids in September for school-age care, that you allow us to add the funds you have paid to camp, to your Just Kids account for September. To request a refund, please email us at Justkids@archwayprograms.org and we will process the refund in the upcoming week. If you want your camp payment to move to your Just Kids account for September, you do not need to notify us. We will do this automatically by June 26th and email you an updated invoice.
