Our before and after school care program, Just Kids, is currently seeking child care providers for the 2019-2020 school year. Just Kids is looking for warm, caring, professional, fun and energetic staff to work with school-aged students during before and/or after school hours. Part-time positions include Supervisors and Assistants located in elementary schools in the following school districts: Collingswood, Franklin Township, Logan Township, Merchantville, Oaklyn, Pine Hill and Waterford Township.

What is the Just Kids Program?
With over 31 years of expertise, Just Kids offers parents a before and after school child care program in a loving, safe and secure environment. Just Kids works in collaboration with each individual school district served, to provide quality center-based school-aged child care (SACC). The children cared for are typical preschool and elementary school students that attend the specific public school. Parents enroll their children into the before and after school program. This service ensures child safety while providing a relationship building and child enrichment curriculum. Just Kids currently has 21 programs throughout 11 different school districts throughout southern New Jersey.

Where is Just Kids located?
Just Kids has several program locations at public elementary schools throughout southern New Jersey. Is training provided to Just Kids’ staff?
Just Kids provides over 40 hours of professional development for each staff member, focusing on many areas including child development, learning through play, medication administration and diversity. All Just Kids’ staff attends summer training prior to each school year and regular mandatory monthly training.
Who is qualified to serve as a child care provider?
To serve as a Just Kids’ child care provider, staff must meet the minimum age requirement of being 16 years of age or older, have school age child care experience/background and provide a list of professional references. Supervisors must have a combination of college credits and/or experience with school age children. Just Kids’ child care providers have a positive attitude and are caring, creative, dependable and passionate about working with kids. Staff is fingerprinted and is required to complete criminal and child abuse background checks as required for licensure. To see a list of job requirements, click here.
What are the hours?
All positions are part-time, Monday through Friday, before and after school hours (6:45 a.m. until school start time; school end time until 6:00 p.m.). The hours fluctuate slightly at each Just Kids program. Hours for current available positions can be found in the chart below.
